Three paths into applied AI

Each programme is built around a particular kind of learner. Cohorts are kept small so sessions remain conversational and office hours are actually useful.

What shapes the way we teach

We try to be honest about what AI can do, to keep cohorts small enough that questions are always welcome, and to let learners choose work that connects to their own context.

Small cohorts

Sessions stay conversational when the group is small. You can ask questions, change direction, and hear what other participants are working on.

Part-time pacing

All programmes run alongside full-time work or study. Evening and weekend scheduling is built in, not an afterthought.

Your own project

Rather than a set exercise, each participant selects their own practical project. The work connects to something that already matters to you.

Honest instruction

We describe what tools can and cannot do. Sessions are built around realistic expectations, not headline claims about AI capability.

Based in Chiang Mai

We are rooted in northern Thailand and familiar with the working context of educators and practitioners in this region.

Hands-on implementation

Each module pairs a live session with an implementation exercise. You build understanding through work, not only through reading.

// common questions

Things people usually ask

Do I need prior experience with AI or machine learning?

It depends on the programme. The AI for Educators Cohort assumes no technical background — it is designed for people whose work is teaching, not building. The Computer Vision Track assumes comfort with Python and a foundational understanding of machine learning. The Applied Vision Systems Programme sits between the two in terms of entry assumptions. We are happy to discuss where you are starting from before you apply.

How much time does each programme require each week?

The AI for Educators Cohort typically involves around four to five hours per week — one live session plus some reading and a small exercise. The Computer Vision Track runs at roughly six to eight hours per week. The Applied Vision Systems Programme sits closer to eight to ten hours per week, particularly during the project phase. All schedules are built to sit alongside full-time work.

When do cohorts run and where are sessions held?

Live sessions are held online in the evening to suit participants who are working during the day. We also hold in-person review sessions at our Nimmanhaemin Road space in Chiang Mai for participants who are based in the city. Get in touch to find out when the next cohort is scheduled to begin.

What is the fee and are there any other costs?

Fees are ฿4,600 for the AI for Educators Cohort, ฿9,800 for the Computer Vision Track, and ฿14,200 for the Applied Vision Systems Programme. There are no hidden fees. Some programmes involve using cloud compute resources for training, but we choose tools that keep those costs modest and we describe them in advance.

Will I receive a qualification or certificate on completion?

We issue a completion record that describes the programme content and the project work you completed. We do not offer credentials that claim to qualify you as an expert — the emphasis here is on the learning and the work, not on a formal award.

How do I apply or find out more before committing?

Use the contact form below or call us directly. We will share the current cohort schedule and a clear description of what the programme involves. You are welcome to ask questions before deciding anything — that is a normal and expected part of the process.
